Meet Pat Richards
My name is Pat Richards and I live in regional Victoria.
I am a retired pilot and have been retired for the past three years.
I started my flying career in the Rhodesian Air Force, flew in the South African Air Force and the Sultanate of Oman Air force as well as flying for various civilian operators including the Victoria Police and ExxonMobil; the last two since moving to Australia in 2000.
I am married and have two children and five grandchildren.
I enjoy keeping fit by cycling, walking, swimming and kayaking. I also enjoy building scale model aircraft of the types that I have actually flown, and camping at out-of-the-way places.
Why I decided to trust Stockspot with my investment portfolio
I decided to trust Stockspot with my investment portfolio as Stockspot stuck out as a young, vibrant company that offered a sensible and diverse suite of investment choices.
My investing goals
I am on my way to reaching my investment goals. I have been using up savings over the last three years and continue to do so this year; next year, when I turn 64, I will start tapping into my super and possibly draw on dividends from Stockspot.

What I like about Stockspot
What I like about Stockspot is the easy app and dashboard access, the regular investment feedback, videos, as well as the online seminars.
I have found Stockspot very easy to navigate on the internet.
The Stockspot investing process has been easy
I find the investing process very easy and I check in every week to see how my portfolio is performing.
I have convinced one of my stepson’s to invest in Stockspot and my one son has invested money that I had in a bank account (grandchildren), into a Stockspot portfolio for three of my grandchildren; aged 10, 8, and 6.
A final thought about investing
If I was advising a friend considering investing, I would give the advice that the returns are far greater than in a bank account; they only have to look at our family Stockspot accounts to verify.
